The job of the Calix tank heater is to maintain the temperature in the hydraulic tank in winter when the machine makes brief stops or for longer stoppages. The machine can be used immediately after starting with the tank heater, which saves fuel and improves utilisation levels, while also reducing unplanned stoppages. The tank heater is easy to install and is a very good investment which also extends the service life of components in the hydraulic system. If the machine is already equipped with a Calix heating system, e.g. engine heater, all you have to do is add a branch socket and extension cable and connect to the existing installation.
